Jardin de Plantes Paris, France Elopement
I can't get over how much of a dream come true it was to photograph Jess + Sean's Elopement in Paris, France! They eloped at Jardin de Plantes, then we adventured off to take photos all around Paris! (The Louvre, The Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomph).
Now with regards to our Paris adventures, I'll tell you about them in bullet point form below :)
Jess + Sean totally spoiled themselves and rented a GORGEOUS Airbnb in Paris that oozed with romance was flooded with natural light.
The driver of the vintage Rolls Royce they rented for the day was such an incredibly warm happy soul. As he toured us around Paris stopping wherever we wanted for pictures, we shared a ton of laughs with him, which made the day even more fun! He liked to call himself "George Clooney" and we thought it was adorable + hilarious!
THIS PART IS EPIC! My favorite memory! So you guys may know that I'm into trespassing and doing almost anything to get the shot I want...soo...When we arrived at The Louvre, people were freely walking around. A couple minutes later, security guards started to block it off and were kicking people out. We thought "oh no! We just got here and we can't get pictures with The Louvre anymore :(" I decided to approach a security guard and asked him if he spoke english. He did just a little so I said "This couple here just got married and they came allll the way from Canada to get a picture in front of the Louvre! Can we just go in for 5 minutes pleasssee?". He said that The Louvre was now closed for a private event so we couldn't pass the gate. I decided to go ask another security guard and after saying the same thing to him, he said "OK but only 2 minutes!". All excited we dashed to a spot that I quickly decided would be the best spot for photos in the short amount of time we had! They twirled around a bit, kissed, and we ran back! In the end, we had The Louvre to ourselves for 2 whole minutes - lol!
They got ready separately near the end, and ended up having their first look in this little courtyard of the building! The Louvre right when we arrived and before it got blocked off to the public!Having The Louvre all to ourselves!! This is how people were reacting to Jess + Sean (and the car) all day! :)After driving around Paris for about 4 hours, we took Jess + Sean home so that they could enjoy the rest of their romantic night!
Special thanks to the following vendors for making Jess + Sean's day so special!
