99 Sudbury Wedding in Toronto

I'm lucky to say that with every couple I photograph, I get to acquire life lessons and inspiration along the way. Kim + Scott value friends and family immensely. I was taken aback with how much effort they put into spending time with everyone and keeping their close bonds alive. Knowing them has helped me become more aware of how important friends + family really are in our lives. So Kim + Scott, I just want to thank you for inspiring me to become a better person when it comes to the relationships in my life.

As I walked through The Gladstone Hotel (where Kim was getting ready) I was greeted by countless happy faces as I finally got to meet each bridesmaid + family member one by one. I knew this day was going to be amazing, but their welcoming energy solidified my pre-conceived notions. Kim couldn't get ready fast enough. She was on a mission..to see her Scotty for the first time that day! They decided to do their first look at High Park since they live just a quick walk away AND that is where Scott proposed to Kim! It was the perfect first look in my opinion because of how sentimental High Park is and will be to them. And yes, there were many tears involved <3

Our last stop of the day was the main stop of the day. The Glass Factory, or otherwise known as 99 Sudbury. Kim lit up when she walked through and saw their ceremony space all set up and ready, as if it was waiting to hear their vows that they wrote for each other. Again, once the ceremony was underway, tears were falling left and right. It was so adorable witnessing their family + friends feeling so excited and emotional for them! During their first kiss, BAM! Confetti popped on the right, and then shortly after on the left. I could tell that it didn't go as planned thanks to Kim's giggles, but it was perfect. Just like the rest of their day filled with laughter, tears, hugs, and family dance offs to "Teach Me How To Dougie"...yup, their friends + family are the coolest!

Arriving at The Gladstone Hotel to document Kim getting ready with her bridesmaids.
