Glen Drummond Farm Dundas Wedding | Danielle + Justin
Danielle and Justin's wedding day started in such a relaxed and connecting way. As you guys know, I usually start the day by heading off to see the guys first. I went to Justin and Danielle's place where Justin was hanging out with his guys and his dad in the most laid back way, spending quality time together, chatting about life, and popping champagne in the back yard. When's the last time you saw someone sabering a champagne bottle? Wow! At one point Justin's mom came to visit and it was such a special moment of connecting as he gave her a gift.
The girls, dressed in matching floral robes, also had some emotional moments together. Danielle had prepared such meaningful gifts for her girls - there was laughing, crying, and so many hugs!
If you want to see everyone literally bursting with emotions just look at the images of Danielle's parents first seeing their daughter wearing the wedding dress. Not only was it such a sentimental moment between them but also the girls who witnessed that. As a Toronto documentary wedding photographer, Iβm always drawn to those candid wedding photos that capture the real, raw emotions of the day.
Their first look was all about the excitement of seeing each other. And it showed in the most playful way - how at ease they were embracing one another, smiling and holding each other. They literally felt so at home! This is what I love about storytelling wedding photography βitβs all about those unposed, genuine moments.
One of my favourite moments that I documented happened right before the ceremony when everyone was arriving, and Justin put a little corsage on his grandma's wrist. And what might seem like a small gesture actually packed such a punch - his grandma was so moved and she didn't hold back crying. This photo melts my heart! These are the kinds of unposed wedding pictures that couples hold close for years to come.
Danielle and Justin got married at Glen Drummond Farm at Dundas, Ontario with the most incredible view behind them - a vast landscape as far as the eye can see, blue skies and the sun shining above them. Talk about picture-perfect. If youβre dreaming of a Glen Drummond Farm Wedding, this venue is truly a gem for anyone looking for a breathtaking backdrop in Southern Ontario.
They really knew how to embrace the whole farm wedding theme. After the ceremony, they jumped on a tractor which took them to the barn where they had their cocktail hour and the reception.
The sunset was EPIC! Before joining everyone else to celebrate, Danielle and Justin were able to get a little bit of extra alone time, getting to share the last sun rays of the day between themselves. And the whole setting was frickin' magical against a backdrop of huge sunflowers. As a wedding photographer in Ontario, these golden hour moments are pure magic for natural wedding photography! :)
