Sentimental Evergreen Brickworks Wedding/ Leslie + Damien

Sometimes a place can mean so much, and to Leslie and Damien, it's The Beaches area in Toronto. There is a whole story behind it for them. Not only is it a place where they both live but also where they met and where their parents live. It's a place filled with history of their relationship. Being able to document it for them was very special. Knowing that for years to come they will be able to look back and remember not only that special time but also this particular place. I love how sentimental and meaningful it is.

On their wedding day, it was really hot and the guys kicked the day off by spending time at Damien's parents' house just chilling by the pool and goofing around. They even had their dog, Kevin, there playing with them which was super fun to document.

The girls were pretty much ready by the time I got there and I loved that they were able to relax and spend quality time together connecting and enjoying each other's company. And, of course, when Leslie put on her wedding dress, there were so many emotional moments.

When it was time for the first look, it was all about them connecting in their meaningful place - The Beaches. It's where they walk their dog Kevin every day and it's such a sentimental location for them both.

Before the ceremony, Leslie and Damien were able to have some alone time together at the venue. And what a gorgeous venue it was - Evergreen Brickworks. The whole day was so magical - the sun was shining bright and there was so much happiness and love in the air. At the end of the ceremony, they made it even more epic by popping some confetti!

Even though it was a big space it felt so close-knit because they share such a special bond with friends and family. In between the meals, family members walked over and kissed them on the forehead and spent some time with them and you could just tell how close they all are. It was very special and reminded me of how important it is to keep up with relationships and the most important people in your life.

And who would've thought that I'd get one of the best photos of the night at the party when everyone went crazy to the song “Shout” and threw Leslie up in the air. Honestly, you guys, it was such an epic night seeing everyone having the time of their lives partying, celebrating, and connecting.
