Ok so I'm super stoked to share this adventure engagement shoot with you all! Katherine + Grant are such free-spirits + cuties together that this session turned into one of my favorites! We started off in their apartment in Schomberg so that they could get some photos with kitty Alex and of them just spending time at home. Home is such a HUGE part of the story of any relationship that I love incorporating it into as many shoots as possible so that each couples can have some memories of where they spend most of their time together! Then we set off to their favorite pub in town for some drinks and cuddles under the sun :) Now it was time to go on an adventure! Boy oh boy did we stumple upon one! Let me tell you the story...

We trespassed into a field (the only way to get proper sunset field photos) and we noticed a beautiful white horse standing on top of the hill with the sunset peaking out from behind it. We kept shooting in the field, but just a couple minutes later, three horses started to peacefully walk up to us!!! We were just in awe!! I couldn't stop snapping pictures of Katherine + Grant interacting with them! It was hilarious because Katherine was scared but giggling at the same time and letting them smell her. Grant was just being the horse whisperer and feeding them grass. Wow. I love how all my adventure sessions literally turn into adventures! Going with the flow is THE BEST!

We ended off their adventure engagement shoot on a trail that they go on every now and then.

I LOVE that their fridge is covered in photos of them! Totally inspired me to do that!! :)

Grant lovves to rock climb so I asked him a bit about it since I've always wanted to try! He got right into telling me all about it! It was awesome how excaited and passionate he was about it. Everyone needs a hobby they can be that excited about :)

I asked them how they would normally be cuddling and Grant definitely went in for an intense cuddle lol

Hey guys I coulnd't help but notice that I don't think you have enough pairs of glasses lol

She mentioned to me that she does this weird thing where she kisses Grant's eyes. And awwwwww she really does lol

The magical moment when the first horse walked up to us!!

Haha Katherine was so scared it was so cute!

"You're the apple of my eye" is what they said and held these apples to their eyes :)

Trespassing is the way to go for some epic + adventurous engagement photos!
