Kurtz Orchards Wedding | Jordie + Zack
When I think back to Jordie + Zack's beautiful outdoor Kurtz Orchards wedding, I immediately remember how bright, sunny, and hot it was that day. It wasn't the kind of, “Ugh, I can't believe how hot it is.” Instead, it fits so perfectly with the whole laid-back romantic outdoor vibe that Jordie + Zack's wedding had, and the fun-filled energy that carried through the day made it even more special.
Whenever I head over to the guys in the morning before a wedding, I always want them to feel relaxed, forget about the camera, and just hang out the way that guys do. And on this occasion, it was so hilarious because as soon as I arrived, the guys were already in their element, literally not minding the camera and just hanging out in their underwear drinking scotch. It was so fun to document it right at the start of the day.
Jordie was getting ready across the hall so I was able to go back and forth between her and the guys getting ready, and there was lots of warmth and laughter on the girls' side, too. The excitement was in the air and everyone was just so stoked to be there.
I can't even describe how beautiful the ceremony was - right under a majestic tree and so much greenery all around. It was filled with positive emotions, and some tears, too. Right after the ceremony everyone couldn't wait to hug each other and connect, you could feel that loving energy.
Jordie + Zack arrived at the reception with this cute tractor train and literally made the most EPIC entrance - choreographed dance moves and all! They were ready to kick off the celebration. There were lots of speeches filled with inside jokes and sentimental stories, and so much laughter throughout the night.
Right at sunset, I took Jordie + Zack out during golden hour to not only get some beautiful shots, but to also give them a moment to embrace each other and take it all in. It was so sweet. Afterwards, when the party kicked off, it was wild - everyone, both kids and grownups, were off to the dancefloor to dance the night away without holding back one bit. And that's exactly what they did - partied hard, and danced the night away under the stars.
