Angeline + Sean got married in Port Sydney, Northern Ontario at the beautiful Trillium Resort & Spa. Surrounded by their closest friends + family, their wedding day was full of joy, emotions, and relaxing nature all around! As a wedding photographer in Muskoka, I felt so grateful to capture every candid moment in this stunning setting.
The day started with an emotional gift exchange. Both Sean + Angeline cried when they opened their heartfelt gifts from each other. They had also written notes for one another. They expressed their love and the excitement that their most special day had finally arrived.
Their wedding ceremony took place on the sandy beach, overlooking the lake and forest in the distance. Since they both love being outdoors so much, this was such an ideal place for them to get married. The ceremony itself was emotional and sweet, just like the rest of the day. If youβre dreaming of a wedding venue in Muskoka that feels intimate and surrounded by nature, Trillium Resort is truly magical.
Not only were they surrounded by their friends and family, but even their pup was there! And how could I not document the baby running around in a diaper looking so adorable?! These are the moments that make documentary wedding photography so meaningfulβcapturing the real, unscripted joy of the day.
Later on, both Angeline + Sean went barefoot for a canoe ride on the lake. You could tell how at ease they were in each other's presence, there in the outdoors that they both love. This is what I love most about natural wedding photography in Muskokaβthe freedom, the laughter, and the genuine connection between couples.
Their first dance was outside shortly before it got dark, and everyone was holding sparklers creating the most romantic vibe. It was time to party the night away!
