Flower Forest Barbados Wedding | Paula + Chris
This magical Flower Forest wedding in Barbados was honestly one of my favorite destination weddings ever. The couple actually lives in Barbados, so it was a very sentimental location to them. They had so many of their family and friends fly in from all around the world, which helped make it even more special!
This post has two parts because the day before the wedding, they ended up going on the Jolly Roger, which is a boat with a ton of amazing Soca Music, drinks, and dancing! It was a ton of fun! I loved documenting everybody just getting wild and having so much fun on the boat together. As a Toronto documentary wedding photographer, these are the moments I absolutely love to capture—everyone just being themselves, letting loose, and making memories.
The next day was the wedding day. They got married under the most magical tree (as you’ll see in the photos) in Flower Forest in Barbados. They were surrounded by so much tropical nature. The way the guests got to witness them getting married was also so unique. They were either standing or sitting on the hill overlooking the ceremony in this tropical paradise. It was unlike any other ceremony I've ever seen before! These are the kinds of moments that make storytelling wedding photography Ontario so rewarding—every detail, every emotion, every laugh and happy tear.
Soon after, we did family + friend photos, and portraits of just Paula and Chris. And then it was party time! There was so much crazy-ass dancing to Soca music (which I’m obsessed with) and it all happened under the moonlight! Best day ever!
