Hilary + Alex’s goofy and emotional The Great Hall Toronto wedding proved yet again how important it is to embrace your uniqueness, let go, and have as much fun as you can. I started the day by telling the guys to have fun, be themselves and do whatever they want. After all, I knew they’d love looking back at these memories much more than having perfect photos of them getting dressed.

This free-spirited wedding at Madsen’s Greenhouse, Ontario was so magical and grounding at the same time. Both Elle + Quade are such beautiful and amazing people who are so present and loving towards everyone they come into contact with.

The couple first met in Montreal. It felt like they had come a full circle and their sentimental Montreal wedding day was full of reflection, revisiting special places, and celebrating with loved ones.

Sometimes life really feels like the movies. But better. Jenn and Mitch's free-spirited Artscape Wychwood Barns wedding was so much fun. Full of those little moments that make you go “aww...” but also make your face hurt from all the smiling and laughing all day long. Even though they had to change the wedding venue just a month before the wedding, their day still ended up being carefree + laid back!

A special day with a beautiful and heartfelt intimate lakeside wedding ceremony in Ontario. The laid-back cottage vibe carried through the day and everyone was at such ease in the cozy setting.

Speaking from experience, I know how easy it is to lose sight of taking care of our mind, body and soul during wedding season. Time and time again I have put my own personal needs on the back burner and I let the busy-ness of work take over.

I love it when weddings tick all the boxes making them a truly memorable and one-of-a-kind occasion. Ella + Mike’s gorgeous lake cottage wedding at Georgian Bay, Ontario was the embodiment of the perfect outdoor wedding.

All these shoulds were stories that my mind created after observing how other photographers work and what was featured on wedding blogs, but then I asked myself a question. WHY?
